Children and youth in the foster care system are disproportionately identified with disabilities.  A new report, Advancing Data-Informed Policies to Improve Education Outcomes for Children in Care: An Expert Roundtable Summary Report, highlights insights and next steps to improve education access for children and youth in foster care. It includes next steps and strategies to promote data sharing, research and policies based on data and research. The goal is to improve education access and eliminate barriers to education success for children and youth in foster care.
